You must have already achieved your AS Level mathematics qualification or hold a GCSE in Maths from grade 8+. (If you do not hold these qulaifications but are gifted at Maths then please call us)
Course Content
This course has been designed to stimulate, inspire and expand your maths knowledge in order for you to reach your full potential. We provide appropriate exercises to suit your ability level and help you stretch and challenge yourself. You will develop your mathematical skills and engage in lively classes that cover the following topics:

You will develop fluent knowledge, skills and understanding of mathematical methods and concepts, and acquire, select and apply mathematical techniques to solve problems. This will allow you to reason mathematically, make deductions and inferences and draw conclusions, all whilst developing skills to comprehend, interpret and communicate mathematical information in a variety of forms appropriate to the information and context.
Method of Study
You will attend a 3 hour class each week where you will work collaboratively with your fellow students, and where you will engage in stimulating discussions and classroom based exercises to support your development and learning. You will also be required to complete work at home independently.
Method of Assessment
Paper 1: You will sit a written examination (2 hours) worth 100 marks (33⅓ % of A-level)
